To investigate this question,
we develop human control models
in physically and physiologically plausible
neuromechanical simulations.

We then use these neuromechanical simulations
to study human physiology
to test rehabilitation treatment
and to control robotic systems.

We bridge biomechanics, neuroscience,
robotics, and machine learning
to study and improve human movement.


We envision developing
predictive neuromechanical simulation frameworks
or digital motor clones
which will be used to develop and prescribe
optimal and customized treatment.
